Man Dies After Motorcycle Collision on Southampton’s Itchen Bridge
A man in his 50s has died following a serious collision on the Itchen Bridge in Southampton. The tragic incident happened on Wednesday, September 25, when the pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle while walking on the bridge.
Emergency Services Responded Quickly
Emergency teams arrived just before 7:15pm. The victim was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition but sadly passed away on Sunday. Hampshire Police confirmed his death and are now renewing their appeal for witnesses.

Motorcycle Rider Arrested and Released on Bail
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Southampton man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He’s since been released on police bail until December 22 as the investigation continues.
