A 74-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being hit by a prison transport vehicle in South Yorkshire yesterday afternoon.
Crash on Doncaster Road Near Hatfield
The terrifying incident took place around 3:30pm on Wednesday, November 13, on Doncaster Road near Coppice Avenue in Hatfield. A DAF GeoAmey prison transport van struck two pedestrians — the woman and a 77-year-old man.
One Victim Critical, One Stable
- The woman remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital.
- The 77-year-old man is injured but not critically.
