A man has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on Plassy Road in Lewisham on Friday night (November 16).
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was alerted to the incident at 8:48 PM, quickly dispatching ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and London’s Air Ambulance. Emergency responders arrived at the scene within six minutes of the call.
The man, who sustained injuries in the crash, was treated at the scene before being transported by road to a major trauma centre in London.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service provided details of the response:
“We were called at 8.48 PM on Friday, November 16 to reports of a road traffic collision in Plassy Road. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and London’s Air Ambulance. The first of our crews arrived in six minutes. Our crews treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.”
The current condition of the injured man has not been disclosed.
