Murder Probe Launched After Man Fatally Stabbed in Southall Home
Police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old man inside a residential property in Southall.
Disturbance Reported in Halliday Square
The emergency services were called just before 3:30pm on Monday, 19 February, after reports of a disturbance in Halliday Square, Southall. Officers arrived to find the young man with stab wounds.
London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance rushed to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead at 4:05pm.
Suspect Arrested at Scene
A 39-year-old man was arrested immediately at the scene and taken into custody at a north London police station. Police have confirmed they are not seeking any other suspects at this time.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation. Officers remain at Halliday Square as inquiries continue.
