Teen Girl Raped Near Golf Course in Crayford
Detectives have launched a major probe after a teenage girl was raped on a footpath close to a golf course in southeast London.
Shock Assault on Perry Street Footpath
The Metropolitan Police were called at around 5:05pm on Monday, 4 August 2025, following reports of a serious sexual assault on a footpath off Perry Street, which runs along the eastern edge of Barnehurst Golf Club in Crayford.
Officers rushed to the scene and have been supporting the victim with specially trained officers. No arrests have been made yet, but enquiries are ongoing.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“At around 17:05hrs on Monday, August 4 police responded to reports of a rape on a footpath off Perry Street, Crayford. Officers attended the scene and spoke with the victim, a teenage girl. She continues to be supported by specialist officers. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.” – Met Police spokesperson
Police are appealing to anyone who was near the area at the time or who may have relevant information to step forward.
