Teen Held After Woman Stabbed in Muswell Hill
A woman in her 40s was rushed to hospital with stab wounds following a shocking attack on St James Lane, Muswell Hill, last Wednesday evening.
Stabbing Rocks Quiet Muswell Hill
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 8pm on November 27. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service arrived to find the woman injured. She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where her wounds were described as non-life-threatening.
Teenage Suspect Arrested
A teenage boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called at 8:04 PM on Wednesday, 27 November, to reports of an assault on St James Lane, Muswell Hill. Officers attended and found a woman, aged in her 40s, with stab injuries. Her injuries are not life-threatening. A male in his teens was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.”
