A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in St James Lane, Muswell Hill, on the evening of Wednesday, November 27.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 8 PM following reports of an assault. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and crews from the London Ambulance Service arrived to find the woman suffering from stab injuries.

She was rushed to the hospital, where her injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.

Arrest at the Scene

A teenage boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). He was taken into police custody, where he remains at this time.

Police Statement

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Police were called at 8:04 PM on Wednesday, 27 November, to reports of an assault on St James Lane, Muswell Hill. Officers attended and found a woman, aged in her 40s, with stab injuries. Her injuries are not life-threatening. A male in his teens was arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.”

Investigation Ongoing

The police investigation is ongoing, and officers are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
