A local resident has issued an urgent appeal after their beloved cat went missing from Sperling Road earlier this week, leaving them “devastated” and deeply concerned for his safety.
The grey and white male cat, who is neutered and microchipped but does not wear a collar, was last seen on Tuesday morning (April 15) at his home on Sperling Road. His owner says it is out of character for him to wander far from home and fears he may have become trapped nearby.

“I’m really worried and absolutely devastated,” the cat’s owner said. “If anyone has seen him, please let me know — and please check your gardens, sheds or garages in case he’s been accidentally locked in.”
Residents in the area are being urged to keep an eye out and check their properties thoroughly. The owner is asking anyone with information or sightings to call 07801 528404 or send a message.
The community is reminded that microchipped pets can be identified and reunited with their owners if found and brought to a vet or shelter.
If you live in or around Sperling Road and spot a grey and white cat matching the description, please act quickly.
