Firefighters are tackling a car fire in a multi-storey car park/”>park at england/scotland/”>scotland/westfield-scotland/”>westfield/”>Westfield Shopping Centre this afternoon, with witnesses reporting thick smoke visible across the area. Ten fire engines and a 32-metre turntable ladder are on scene.
The vehicle is believed to be an electric model—possibly a Tesla although this has not yet been confirmed by officials.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) has urged people to avoid the area while crews work to make the scene safe. There are no immediate reports of injuries.
