Blazing Drama in Bloomsbury: Five Fire Engines Rush to Flat Fire
Firefighters Race to Woburn Place Blaze
Five fire engines and about 35 firefighters swarmed a ground-floor flat on Woburn Place, Bloomsbury, after flames erupted in part of the one-roomed unit. The London Fire Brigade received the call at 17:19, and the fire was brought under control within an hour.
Heroic Rescue Amid Smoke and Flames
Wearing breathing apparatus, brave firefighters pulled a man from the burning flat. He was quickly treated by London Ambulance Service crew on site before being rushed to hospital. His condition has not been disclosed.
Investigation Underway After Swift Response
Fire crews from Euston, Soho, Islington, and Kentish Town stations tackled the blaze, which damaged the flat but was contained swiftly. The cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under investigation.
