Shocking Central Line Attack: Woman Punched and Kicked on Platform
A shocking assault unfolded on a westbound Central Line train at 3:30pm on Wednesday 9 February. A group, including a man and a woman pushing two prams with young kids, caused chaos on the packed service.
Bag Snatch Sparks Violent Brawl
As the train pulled into East 1 station, the man snatched a female passenger’s bag. When she tried to retrieve it, the woman with him grabbed the victim and dragged her off the train. She then launched a vicious attack, punching and hitting the woman in the face.
Brutal Beating on Platform
The assault continued on the platform, where the victim was pushed to the floor and repeatedly punched and kicked in the face. The man also stole her phone before the group fled the scene.
