High-Speed Crash Rocks A2 Near Gravesend
Chaos erupted on the A2 at dawn on Sunday. At 5:21am on 23 November 2025, a white Mercedes A45 AMG barreled coastbound along Watling Street. It smashed into a black BMW 1 Series, which then crashed into a white Volvo lorry. The horrific three-vehicle pile-up quickly drew Kent Police, firefighters, and paramedics to the scene.
Critical Condition and Arrest After Smash
The 27-year-old BMW driver was rushed to hospital and remains in a critical condition. His loved ones have been informed. Meanwhile, another man in his 20s was also treated at the hospital before being arrested. He faces charges of serious injury by dangerous driving and drink-driving. Police have bailed him pending further investigation.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is pleading for help. Officers want anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the crash to step forward immediately.
