Man, 21, Charged After Shocking Stabbing at Bognor Regis Station

A 21-year-old man has been locked up after a stabbing spree at Bognor Regis railway station, following a swift British Transport Police probe.

Jason McDonagh in Court Over Rail Platform Assault

Jason McDonagh, born 2 January 2004 and with no fixed address, faced Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 26 November. He’s charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying a blade in public.

McDonagh was remanded in custody and will stay behind bars until his next hearing.

Stabbing Shakes Bognor Regis Station

  • Incident happened just before 8.30am on Monday, 25 November
  • Victim, a man in his 20s, found injured on the platform
  • Emergency services rushed him to hospital
  • Injuries later confirmed not life-changing; victim discharged same day

Police arrested McDonagh at the scene and charged him after questioning.
