Wife Vanishes in Cardiff
Paria Veisi, 37, disappeared from Cathays, Cardiff, on 12 April 2025. Heartbreakingly, her body was discovered a week later hidden in a garden in Penylan.
Estranged Husband Confesses
On Thursday at Cardiff Crown Court, her estranged husband Alireza Askari, 42, pleaded guilty to her murder. He also admitted to preventing a lawful and decent burial.
Sentencing Set for February
Askari is due to be sentenced on 13 February, bringing this grim case one step closer to justice.
