A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Croydon killed a 22-year-old in the early hours of Sunday, 15 February.
Ellis Anim-Annor Charged Over Croydon Stabbing
Ellis Anim-Annor, from Bromley, is due in Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 19 February. He faces a murder charge over the stabbing of 22-year-old Lorik Abazi on Hesterman Way, Croydon.
Three Men Stabbed in Early Morning Attack
Police were called to the scene shortly after 1:15am following reports of a stabbing. Officers found three men with stab wounds. Despite paramedics’ efforts, Lorik died later in hospital. Specialist units are now supporting his grieving family.
Widespread Police Operation Nets Ten Arrests
- Ten people have been arrested in connection with the attack.
- Among them, two 25-year-old women and the 28-year-old suspect were arrested Sunday afternoon.
- Both women were initially bailed; one was re-arrested for perverting the course of justice but has since been bailed again.
- Four others aged 21 to 22 face affray allegations; most have been bailed.
- One man with life-threatening injuries was released from hospital and bailed.
- Two 22-year-old women remain in custody after Thursday arrests for affray.
