What Happened to Joshua?
Initially, all Joshua’s family knew was that he was rushed to the hospital but discharged himself the same night. He returned to his hotel with a gauze on his arm, suggesting a needle or IV site from his hospital visit.
Murder Probe Launched After Toxicology Shocker
Joshua’s mum, Jenny, has now revealed on Facebook that toxicology reports found a staggering seven different substances in his blood – all at dangerously high levels. This grim discovery has led police to reopen the case as a murder investigation.
Family Seeks Woman Seen with Joshua Before Death
Jenny has also shared photos of a mysterious woman believed to have been with Joshua in the hours before he died. The family don’t know her name and is begging for help to identify her. In one chilling image, she is seen holding Joshua’s belongings.

Family Left in the Dark for Days
The tragedy deepened when Joshua’s family weren’t informed of his death until eight days later, on January 21. They were also initially told the case was closed – before it was suddenly reopened. Adding to the confusion, the official death certificate cites 15:16 as the time of death, but the family were told this was when the hotel reported finding him. When did Joshua really pass away?
As the investigation continues, the family insists that only by uncovering the truth can they find peace.
Joshua’s body was returned to the UK in February. His funeral took place at Wakefield Crematorium.
