A Derby man, Fasil Hussain, 40, has been sentenced to three years in prison for distributing heroin and cocaine across Derby. Police found him at a Normanton property on Upper Dale Road in early February during a recall to prison operation, uncovering drugs and cash.

Derby Crash Horror

Hussain used his mobile phone to send mass marketing messages advertising heroin and cocaine sales to potential users across Derby. Analysis of the seized phone proved crucial in the police investigation.

Police Arrest

Officers tracked down Hussain, who denied the offences during a police interview, stating, “It’s all lies.” Despite this, he was arrested after cocaine and cash were discovered during the search.

Court Verdict

Hussain, of Rose Hill Street, Rose Hill, was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine. He pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced on Wednesday, 15 April at Derby Crown Court.
