Van owner battered with metal pole in broad daylight attack
Assailants strike as man tries to unlock van
At 7.50am on Saturday, February 4, a man in Hillingdon Road was set upon by two attackers. The victim was caught off guard as he tried to unlock his van.
Violent assault leaves victim with serious head injuries
One suspect punched the man to the ground. While he lay there, both attackers continued their brutal assault, smashing him over the head with a metal pole. They also kicked him in the back and shoulder before he managed to crawl into his van.
Victim escapes and calls for help
Injured but determined, the victim drove to a nearby road and dialed 911. He was rushed to hospital with head, back, and shoulder injuries but has since been discharged.
Police hunt suspects – can you help?
- One suspect: White, early 20s, 5 to 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket and hat.
- Second suspect: Black, early 20s, same height range, clad in a balaclava, black jacket, and biker gloves.
Officers urge anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward. Witnesses who saw the men matching the descriptions should contact police immediately.
