Man in His 60s Dies After Altercation at Lullingstone Castle
Detectives from Kent and Essex Serious Crime team are hunting for witnesses after a man was found dead in Eynsford.
Kent Police received a call at 5.21pm on Thursday 28 May 2020 about a disturbance in the grounds of Lullingstone Castle. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene but sadly, a man in his 60s was pronounced dead on site.
Altercation with Teens Suspected Near Lake
It’s reported the victim may have been involved in an argument or fight with two boys or teenagers near a lake on the grounds before his death. Cops want to hear from anyone who saw the incident or spotted two young people nearby between noon and 7pm.
Police Seek Witnesses and Video Footage
- Dog walkers, anglers, golfers urged to come forward
- Anyone driving along Castle Road or Shoreham Road asked to share dashcam footage
- Cyclists and joggers in the area between 12pm and 7pm should also get in touch
