Massive Blaze Erupts at Forest Hill Shop
A fierce fire has ripped through a ground-floor shop on Perry Vale, Forest Hill. Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters were scrambled to tackle the blaze.

Residents nearby have been urged to keep windows and doors tightly closed as thick smoke spreads across the area. Authorities have set up a strict 25-metre cordon, warning the public to stay well clear for their own safety.

Firefighters Fight Flames from the Sky
The Brigade leapt into action after 49 emergency calls starting at 6:27pm. Crews from Forest Hill, Lewisham, Beckenham, and West Norwood rushed to the scene. A colossal 32-metre turntable ladder is being used to flood the blaze with water from above.
The cause of the fire remains unknown as investigations get underway.
