A towering 60-metre crane has toppled in Reading, forcing shops and homes to be evacuated amid fears for public safety.
Chaos in West Street
Just before 2pm on Saturday, the crane leaned dangerously and came to rest against the old Primark building on West Street. Thames Valley Police rushed to the scene, ordering a swift evacuation.
