Woman Fatally Stabbed at Greenwich Holiday Inn

Detectives are probing a brutal stabbing that left a woman dead at a Greenwich hotel.

Police rushed to the Holiday Inn on Bugbsy’s Way, SE10, at 10:02am on Sunday, 5 July after reports of a stabbing.

Officers and paramedics found the woman with serious injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Formal ID is pending as police work to notify her next of kin.

Man Falls from Height During Incident

Meanwhile, a man believed to be known to the victim fell from a height while police were at the scene. He was taken to hospital under police guard. His condition is today described as life-threatening.

At this early stage, police say no one else is believed to be involved.

Crime Scene Secured as Investigation Continues

A full crime scene remains in place with officers maintaining a heavy presence. Specialist Crime detectives have launched a formal investigation into the stabbing.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference CAD 3272/5 July.
