Three men have been arrested after a brazen daylight burglary in Four Marks left a homeowner bruised but lucky to keep his belongings.

The shocking incident unfolded at 12.40pm on Saturday, November 12, in Lymington Bottom. Three men burst into the home of a man in his 60s and assaulted him.
Hero Homeowner Fights Back
The victim triggered a panic alarm, sending the burglars fleeing empty-handed. Despite suffering bruising to his head, the man prevented the gang from stealing anything from his property.
Police Launch Appeal After Arrests
Detective Constable Tom Prutz described the attack as “a targeted incident which took place during daylight hours.” He urged witnesses to come forward: “Anyone in the area who saw what happened or spotted a vehicle speeding away, please contact us.”
Manchester Trio Held in Custody
- Three men aged 31, 20, and 18 were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
- All are from Manchester and remain in police custody.
