The victim triggered a panic alarm, sending the burglars fleeing empty-handed. Despite suffering bruising to his head, the man prevented the gang from stealing anything from his property.

Police Launch Appeal After Arrests

Detective Constable Tom Prutz described the attack as “a targeted incident which took place during daylight hours.” He urged witnesses to come forward: “Anyone in the area who saw what happened or spotted a vehicle speeding away, please contact us.”

Manchester Trio Held in Custody
