Teen in Critical Condition After Horror Crash on Carpenters Lane

At 5.28pm on Sunday 22 October, a white Yamaha 125 motorcycle collided head-on with a silver DAF horsebox van on Carpenters Lane, near Hadlow. The Yamaha was travelling towards Hadlow, while the horsebox was heading in the opposite direction towards Shipbourne.

Two Boys Seriously Injured in Collision

The crash happened just before the junction with High House Lane. The Yamaha rider and his passenger, both teenagers, suffered serious injuries. The 17-year-old rider is in critical condition in hospital, while the 15-year-old passenger remains seriously injured but stable.

Second Rider on the Run Before Arrest

Another motorcyclist, an 18-year-old, was also at the scene but did not stop. He has since been arrested in connection with the crash.

Kent Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the incident. They urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
