Isle of Wight Gripped by Tragedy After Six-Year-Old Keziah Flux-Edmonds Dies
The close-knit community of East Cowes on the Isle of Wight is reeling after the heartbreaking death of six-year-old Keziah Flux-Edmonds.
Devastation at Cromwell Avenue Home
Friends, neighbours, and strangers alike have been leaving cards, flowers, and soft toys outside Keziah’s family home, desperate to pay their respects to the Queensgate Primary School pupil. The little girl, who dreamed of growing up to be a princess, was found alongside her father, Darren Flux-Edmonds, 44, who also tragically died.
The grim discovery was made at their £250,000 four-bedroom home on Cromwell Avenue, East Cowes. Two dogs were also found dead at the scene. Less than 24 hours before, Keziah had been rushed to hospital after being found by her mum and a close friend.
Community in Tears
Police and forensic teams have spent the morning carefully removing evidence from the property. Meanwhile, Keziah’s classmates struggled to hold back tears, grappling with the shocking loss of their young friend.
Nearby workers laid flowers and big white teddy bears to mark the tragedy. Em Cotter said, “Just utterly heartbreaking. Sending love to the family and friends of this beautiful little one. Thinking of all who responded yesterday — police, paramedics, and hospital staff. The community is with you all.”
Messages of Love and Hope
Lisa Horner shared, “Oh, she is so, so beautiful. R.I.P little angel xx. Whatever happened, I hope Keziah and her daddy are now at peace.”
The Isle of Wight community is united in grief, holding onto hope that Keziah and her father find peace after this shocking tragedy.
