Science Museum Evacuated Over Suspicious Bag
Police have shut down the Science Museum and evacuated everyone after a suspicious bag was found on Sunday afternoon.
Exhibition Road Shut as Officers Deal with Threat
Exhibition Road is also closed off while Met Police officers ask visitors to leave the area. The alert came just after 1.30pm when museum staff reported the abandoned bag.
Bomb Squad Called In to Inspect Suspect Item
A specialist from the Met is now examining and X-raying the bag to determine if it poses any danger.
The Met Police have been contacted for comment.
