A man has been left with serious leg injuries after a hit-and-run collision in Portsmouth. Police are urgently hunting the driver who fled the scene without stopping.

Crash on Elm Grove in Early Hours

Officers were called at 1.50am on April 26 following reports of a collision on Elm Grove, Southsea. The victim, a 36-year-old Portsmouth local, was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital with severe leg injuries.

Suspect Vehicle Escapes Scene

The offending vehicle is described as a Ford Focus-style car that failed to stop after the collision. Police are investigating the full circumstances and want the driver to come forward.
