Police are on the lookout after a brazen attempted robbery in The Boulevard, Waterlooville, last Saturday night.
Man Attacked Trying to Protect His Bag
At around 9.45pm on 9 March, a 21-year-old man and his girlfriend were confronted by a thug who tried to snatch the man’s bag. The suspect didn’t hesitate to strike, hitting the victim on the back of the head, punching him in the face, and even kicking his bike. Luckily, the victim held tight to his bag and nothing was stolen.
Suspect Description – Police Want Your Help
- White male, aged 20-30
- Slim build, about 5’10” tall
- Short dark hair and stubble
- Wore a coat with yellow shoulders, grey body, and dark trousers
