Shocking Attack on 71-Year-Old Woman After Quad Bike Demand
Police are hunting thugs after a 71-year-old woman was shoved to the ground and suffered a fractured hip near Hartley Wintney. The pensioner caught three masked men sprinting across her farm in Hazeley Heath between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday, 31 May – and dared to confront them.
Villains Demand Quad Bike Keys
One of the men suddenly turned and shoved her hard, making her fall. He then ordered her to hand over the keys to a nearby quad bike. The woman refused, forcing the intruders to flee.
She soon realised she was badly hurt and was rushed to 1 Park Hospital with a fractured hip.
Police Link Quad Bike Sightings to Attack
All three suspects were described as males dressed in dark clothes with covered faces. Detective Constable Jo Martindale revealed: “Earlier that afternoon, there were reports of three or four people riding a quad bike around Bramshill Common.”
“These incidents may be connected. If you saw suspicious activity or quad bikes in Bramshill Common last Wednesday afternoon, we want to hear from you.”
