Burglars Strike Shootash Home, Swipe Shotguns and Garden Gear

Police in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are hunting crooks who raided a property in Shootash late on September 10. The break-in happened sometime between 11:45 pm and 12:15 am on Salisbury Road.

Stolen Loot Includes Shotguns and Air Rifle

  • Burglars stole garden tools like a chainsaw and strimmer.
  • More alarmingly, they broke into a gun cabinet.
  • Two legally registered shotguns and an air rifle were taken.

Officers have been probing the area and now want the public’s help. They are keen to hear from anyone who was on the A27 or Salisbury Road around the time and spotted anything fishy.
