Man, 22, Fatally Stabbed in Broad Daylight in Kidbrooke
Police launch murder probe after tragic stabbing on Tellson Avenue, SE18.
Deadly Attack in Alleyway
At 2.40pm on Wednesday, 10 July, officers rushed to Tellson Avenue following reports of a stabbing. A 22-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds. Despite emergency medics’ best efforts, he was pronounced dead at 8.35pm.
His family have been informed, and a post-mortem will be carried out soon.
Motive Still a Mystery
The victim is believed to have been attacked in an alleyway. The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation, headed by Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard.
“We are working hard to establish the exact circumstances of this incident. While robbery is one potential motive, we are keeping an open mind,” said DCI Leonard. “This attack happened in broad daylight. We urge anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious to come forward and help us.”
