Blaze Breaks Out in Normanton Home – Roads Shut!

Emergency crews rushed to a house fire on Rose Hill Street, Normanton, this afternoon. Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 2.10pm on Thursday, 26 December, and are still battling the flames alongside police and East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Road Closures Hit Rose Hill Street

Rose Hill Street is currently closed and expected to stay shut for a while. Locals and commuters are urged to avoid the area and find alternative routes to dodge delays.

Police Hunt Witnesses for Fire Clues

Investigators are in the early stages of probing what sparked the blaze. Officers want to hear from anyone who was near the scene between 11am and 1.45pm today.
