Three Arrested After Man Seriously Injured in Morda Stabbing
Stabbing Shakes Quiet Morda Community
Three men have been arrested following a violent attack in Morda that left a 43-year-old man with serious stab wounds. Police rushed to a property on Weston Close at around 9pm last Friday.
The victim was found injured and was quickly taken to Royal Stoke Hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Suspects Caught and Held by Police
- A 24-year-old man faces suspicion of attempted murder.
- A 37-year-old was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and obstructing police.
- A 53-year-old man was also detained on suspicion of criminal damage.
Police Reassure Local Residents
Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Woods said: “Morda is a close community and an incident like this will bring great concern to the public. I would like to reassure people that this was an isolated incident and the people involved are currently in custody.”
She added: “Police officers will remain at the scene to help with our investigation and offer reassurance to anyone who needs to speak to them.”
