Serious Moped Crash on David Lane Sparks Police Appeal
Nottinghamshire Police are urgently hunting witnesses after a serious collision on David Lane left a 31-year-old moped rider badly injured.
Red Moped Rider Crashes Near Tram Stop
The crash happened just after 1.30pm yesterday, close to the tram line between the tram stop and New Generation Church. Police had spotted the red moped because it failed to stop. The rider was heading toward an alleyway near the tram stop when he fell off and was seriously hurt. He was rushed to hospital.
Tram Barriers Down but Mystery Remains
What complicates the case is that the tram barriers were down and a tram was stopped at the time. Officers want to know exactly how the collision occurred under these conditions.
