Teen Dies After Glasgow Disturbance
Tragedy rocked Cranhill, Glasgow, after 16-year-old Kory McCrimmon died from injuries sustained in a violent disturbance. The youngster was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but sadly passed away on Sunday.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Emergency crews were called to Greenfield Park on Eskbank Street at around 8:15 pm on Friday, May 31, 2024. Kory was critically injured during the incident and fought for his life before succumbing to his wounds two days later.
Junior Suspect Arrested and Charged
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the attack. He is set to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, June 3, 2024, facing charges linked to the fatal incident.
Investigation Underway
Police are investigating the cause of the disturbance and have launched a full inquiry. A detailed report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal to decide on further legal action.
