Aston Cocks, 27, was slammed with a three-year jail sentence at Canterbury Crown Court on 22 July 2021. Police caught him red-handed with class A drug MDMA, class C drug pregabalin, and a hefty £450 cash stash during a raid on his Sussex Street home.
Massive Drugs Haul and Crack Cocaine Operation Uncovered
Thanet’s Community Policing Team swooped on Cocks’ property on 9 July 2019 after intelligence tipped them off he was dealing drugs.
- Officers seized MDMA worth around £700.
- They also found over 30 pregabalin tablets.
- A lock-up in Ramsgate Harbour linked to Cocks was searched, revealing it was used to manufacture crack cocaine.
Phone Evidence Seals the Deal
Analysis of Cocks’ phone uncovered that he was actively arranging drug deals with local users, confirming his key role in the supply chain.

“Drug dealing all too often leads to other forms of criminality which impact on our community,” said Detective Constable Mark Huttley from Kent Police’s CID. “We’re determined to disrupt drug networks at every opportunity. I’m pleased this investigation has seen another committed criminal removed from the streets of Thanet.”
