Man Caught Racing at 150mph on A27 Slapped with 20-Month Ban
Sussex Police have released shocking footage of a driver nailed for dangerous speeding – hitting a terrifying 150mph on the A27.

PC Andre Owen, part of the Roads Policing Unit, was on routine patrol eastbound towards Lewes on 10 May when he was overtaken by two vehicles roaring past the 70mph speed limit.
One car slowed down as PC Owen approached, but an Audi A6 TDI kept pushing the limits, blasting up to 150mph.
PC Owen pulled the car over and identified the driver as 33-year-old Maeteusz Kryskow from Polegate.
Harsh Court Sentence for Reckless Driver
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 25 November, Kryskow was banned from the roads for 20 months and must pass an extended re-test before getting his licence back.

Police Warn: Speed Kills
“I am appalled by the manner of driving demonstrated by the defendant,” said Chief Inspector Michael Hodder of the Surrey and Sussex Roads Policing Unit.
“It’s extremely fortunate he did not seriously injure or kill himself or someone else that day. His actions were reckless, dangerous and completely irresponsible.”
Chief Inspector Hodder reminded drivers: “Speeding drastically reduces your braking distance and reaction time. The faster you drive, the less chance you have of surviving a crash.”
Speeding is one of the top five causes of fatal and serious injury crashes in the UK.
In Sussex alone last year, 1,395 speed-related collisions injured people, with 315 serious injuries and 18 tragic fatalities.
“We ask all road users to obey speed limits. They’re a limit, not a target. Slowing down could save a life,” Hodder concluded.
