Ipswich Man Caught Selling Class A Drugs

Francis Snell, 35, from Montgomery Road, Ipswich, faced Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday 23 March. He admitted dealing serious Class A drugs including cocaine, crack cocaine, and heroin.

Crime Spree Spanned Five Months

The offences happened between 1 October 2022 and 21 February 2023. Snell was busted at his home on 22 February. Police seized his phone, uncovering bulk messages advertising drugs to potential buyers.

Jail Time for Heroin Possession

Snell admitted possessing heroin and was handed a six-month prison sentence. This runs concurrently with a three-year term for drug supply. He denied other charges for Class C drugs, which remain on file.
