Man Charged with Murder After Woman Dies in A406 Car Clash
Murder Charge Over January Crash
Robert Barrow, 54, from Chigwell, Essex, has been charged with the murder of 40-year-old Tahereh Pirali-Dashti. The tragic incident happened on the A406 back in January. Barrow also faces an assault charge relating to a 56-year-old man.
Fatal Fight Sparks Police Probe
The terrifying episode unfolded just before 11:50am on 20 January. Police were called after reports of a heated altercation between occupants of two vehicles. Tahereh was rushed to hospital in critical condition but sadly died on 10 April.
Suspect Arrested and Bailed
Barrow was arrested shortly after the crash, around 12:45pm on the same day, following a vehicle stop in Islington. He was released on bail before today’s murder and assault charges were officially filed.
Next Steps in Court
Barrow is set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 19 April. The case continues to develop as police investigate the fatal collision.
