County Lines Dealer Jailed for Over Three Years After Ipswich Bust

Emran Ahmed, 19, of Hopton Road, Ipswich, has been locked up for 40 months. Ipswich Crown Court sentenced him on Wednesday 16 November after he pled guilty to supplying heroin and cocaine, plus possessing £451.74 in criminal cash.

County Lines Crackdown Nets London-Based Dealer

Ahmed’s arrest happened on Sunday 1 May at Alexandra Park, Ipswich. Police found his phone linked him to a London-based County Lines operation. Contacts on his SIM card connected to local Class A drug dealers in the Ipswich area, exposing a dangerous drug network.

Operation Orochi Smashes Drug Supply Routes

The crackdown was part of Operation Orochi, a joint effort by Suffolk Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police targeting County Lines trafficking between London and Suffolk.
