Burglar Busted: Lee Cooper Faces Four Burglary Charges

Lee Cooper, 48, from Abbey Fields, Faversham, has been slapped with four burglary charges. He’s accused of three break-ins at the Tesco on Crescent Road and one more at a West Street business.

Crime Spree Spanned Over a Month

The thefts happened between Tuesday, 30 May, and Saturday, 1 July, causing alarm in the local community.

Arrest Made, Court Date Set

Cooper was arrested on Thursday, 13 July, and charged soon after. He faced Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 15 July, where he was granted bail under strict conditions. He’s set to return to court on Wednesday, 27 September.
