A woman suffered a head injury in a crash on Church Road just before 10.30pm on Wednesday. She received hospital treatment and was later released.
Driver Arrested Over Serious Crash
The 22-year-old driver has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She remains in police custody.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant Julie Lyman from the Serious Collision Investigation Team said: “This is a tragic incident and we are supporting the family of the little girl who has been badly injured.”
“If anyone saw what happened or has dashcam footage and hasn’t spoken to us yet, please get in touch.”
