Aldi Recalls Popular £6.99 Christmas Perfumes Over Safety Fears

Aldi has launched an emergency recall on its hit Christmas perfumes, warning shoppers of a potential injury risk. The budget giant is pulling the Lacura Cozmo His 100ml and Lacura Cozmo Hers 100ml bottles due to a packaging fault that could cause the glass containers to shatter.

Budget Luxury Beauty Hits Shelves — Then Pulled

Launched just days ago on December 10, these affordable fragrances quickly sold out thanks to rave reviews and their bargain price tag. At only £6.99, they offered festive gift buyers massive savings — up to 94% less than designer brands like Paco Rabanne.

Both scents, part of Aldi’s health and beauty range Lacura, were described as cruelty-free and perfect presents for the season. The His perfume features bold notes of vanilla, lemon zest, lavender, smoke, patchouli, and vetiver. The Hers scent combines mango, bergamot, jasmine, vanilla, and sandalwood for a sensual finish.

How to Check If Your Perfume Is Affected

If you snapped up these scents, Aldi urges you to check the barcode now:

  • Lacura Cozmo His 100ml: 406145990184
  • Lacura Cozmo Hers 100ml: 4061459901863

Shoppers with the faulty bottles should return them to any Aldi store immediately for a full refund. The supermarket has pulled all stock from shelves as a precaution and apologised for the inconvenience, admitting the product didn’t meet their usual high standards.

Aldi Urges Immediate Returns Amid Safety Warning

“Your safety is our priority,” Aldi stated in the recall notice, urging customers to act fast. If you’ve got one of these bottles, don’t risk it — get down to your nearest Aldi and exchange it for a full refund.

Keep an eye on barcodes, stay safe, and enjoy the festive season without any nasty surprises from your beauty buys.
