Man Charged Over Brutal Henfield Assault

Police have charged a suspect following a violent attack in Henfield on Saturday night (4 February).

Violent Incident in Henfield Common South

Officers rushed to a home in Henfield Common South at 11.25pm after reports that two men had been viciously assaulted.

Both victims were taken to hospital with serious injuries but have now been discharged.

Lee Tidy Held on Multiple Charges

Lee Tidy, 23, from North Mead, Henfield, was arrested at the scene. He faces charges including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, aggravated burglary, and possession of cannabis.

Tidy remains in custody and is due in Lewes Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on 7 March.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Authorities confirmed no other suspects are being sought but urged anyone with information to come forward.
