Explosion Rocks Spalding Road – Three Men Injured
Chaos erupted in Gedney Drove, Spalding, after a small explosion rocked the area at 10.53am. Police quickly sealed off the road and called in expert Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) officers to tackle the situation.
Three Men Hurt – One Seriously
Three men were injured in the blast. One is seriously hurt but thankfully not in a life-threatening condition. The other two sustained less severe injuries. Paramedics and an air ambulance rushed the victims to hospital for urgent treatment.
Safety Measures and Investigation Underway
The Health and Safety Executive has been called in to investigate the cause of the explosion. Meanwhile, EOD specialists are on their way to secure the scene and ensure no further danger lurks.
Police remain at the scene, keeping the area locked down as investigations continue.
