Killer of Beloved Stepmum Rizwana Kousar Jailed for Life
The family of Rizwana Kousar have spoken out after the court dealt justice for her tragic murder. The heartbroken relatives revealed the enormous impact her loss has had on them all.
Stepmum’s Murderer Convicted
Abdul Sami, 23, of Mannheim Road, was found guilty of killing his stepmother, Rizwana Kousar, 41, by a jury at bradford-crown-court/" title="Bradford Crown Court" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bradford Crown Court on 17 March.
He was sentenced on 20 March to life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 14 years and 91 days before he can apply for parole.
A Life Remembered
Rizwana’s family paid a touching tribute to her warmth and kindness. “Rizwana was a cherished daughter, sister, auntie, and friend, whose heart was always full of love and selflessness,” they said.
“Her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she touched, bringing warmth and joy into countless lives.”

The family revealed their grief is overwhelming. “The void she has left is immeasurable, and our hearts are shattered by her absence,” they said.
“Nothing can erase the profound pain and devastation that has engulfed our family. We hope only to seek justice for Rizwana.”
