Ex-Teacher Nick Baldock Charged with Serious Child Sex Offences
Nick Baldock, 46, a former teacher at Lancing College in West Sussex, faces a barrage of child sex charges. He’s been formally charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of publishing obscene material, and three counts of unlawfully sharing personal data. These crimes allegedly involve six pupils from the college during Baldock’s time there.
Additional Charges: Indecent Images Unrelated to School
On top of that, Baldock faces three counts of making indecent photographs of a child. These particular charges do not involve any current or former Lancing College pupils.
Offences Spanning August 2021 to December 2022
The alleged offences took place between August 2021 and December 2022. Baldock was arrested at the end of 2022. He is no longer working at Lancing College and has moved away from the area.
Facing Court, Police Appeal for Info
Baldock was released on conditional bail. He is due to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 13 August. Police are continuing their investigation and have urged anyone with information to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting serial 203 of 12/08.
