Chilling mugshots of Steve Sansom and Gemma Watts have been unveiled after the pair were sentenced for the brutal murder of Sarah Mayhew, a 38-year-old mum from New Addington.
Sansom, 45, was slammed with a whole life order, meaning he’ll rot behind bars for life. Watts, 49, faces life with a minimum of 30 years for her part in the savage killing.
A Twisted Couple’s Dark Secrets Revealed
The pair’s sick relationship came to light at the Old Bailey on January 30. Prosecutors uncovered explicit messages between Sansom and Watts describing their “bloodthirsty and wicked fantasies,”/strong involving bestiality, humiliation, and inflicting pain.
On April 6, 2024, Sansom was arrested for the 123 to seek help immediately. The Sansom-Watts case is a stark warning about the dangers of manipulative, violent offenders lurking in our communities.
