Teen Stabbed in Broad Daylight Near Meadow Lane Park
An 18-year-old was stabbed in a shocking attack on Monday, 11 October 2021, at around 6pm in a park close to Meadow Lane.
Victim Attacked While Sitting on Bench
The victim was quietly sitting on a park bench when a stranger suddenly assaulted him. He suffered a wound consistent with a stabbing/" title="Stabbing" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">stabbing and was rushed to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
Suspect Spotted: Young, Slim, Grey Tracksuit
Police describe the attacker as a slim young man, aged between 16 and 18, dressed in a grey tracksuit. Two other teenage boys, similar in age and build, were seen nearby. One wore a khaki camouflage jacket.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Video Evidence
Detective Sergeant Scott Winteridge of maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone CID said: “We have carried out forensic tests at the scene and are canvassing the local community. We urge anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the Meadow Lane area to come forward.”
