Alexander Admits Animal Cruelty
Company director Alexander pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to his black terrier, Goat. CCTV footage showed the IT specialist chasing the terrified dog down a back alley beside his home before punching him.
Disturbing Abuse on Multiple Occasions
The abuse wasn’t a one-off. The harrowing clips showed repeated attacks, leaving magistrates stunned. Presiding magistrate Chloe Jeffs said, “This case is so serious that custody has been a strong option.”
Magistrates Condemn ‘Cruel, Mean’ Behaviour
Magistrate Jeffs added, “With over 35 years on the bench, we’ve never seen footage this upsetting for animal welfare.” She blasted Alexander’s “intimidating behaviour” as “cruel, mean and frankly shocking,” saying, “To call yourself an animal lover is outrageous.”
Goat has since been rehomed by the RSPCA, who stepped in after Alexander’s neglect.
