Man Charged with Murder of Woman Found Dead in Hammersmith Flat
A man has been charged with murder following the tragic death of a woman in a Hammersmith flat earlier this year.
Apapale Adoum, 39, with no fixed address, was charged on Thursday, 5 June, with the murder of 36-year-old Victoria Adams. Victoria was found dead at a property on Coulter Road.
Adoum appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 6 June, and was remanded in custody. He is next due in court at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 10 June.
Police Called After Reports of Break-In
The chilling events unfolded on Sunday, 9 February, when police were called to Coulter Road at 10:13pm. Neighbours reported a man trying to force entry into a flat.
Officers forced their way inside and found Victoria Adams unresponsive. Despite emergency attempts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial Arrest Leads to Murder Charge
A man, aged 38 at the time, was arrested immediately on suspicion of murder. After thorough investigation, he was identified as Apapale Adoum and formally charged.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the investigation is continuing but has now advanced enough to begin court proceedings.
